From the campsite ... To the white sandy beaches
Vendays-Montalivet and its seaside resort of Montalivet les bains offers you 12 kilometres of fine sandy beach on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in Gironde. Montalivet and its invigorating waves, ideal for long swims and games in the water, is the ideal place to spend your holidays. It is a perfect seaside resort for camping in Gironde.
You can reach one of the 3 beaches of Montalivet from the campsite in 10-15 minutes by car. Montalivet is one of the few seaside resorts where you can park easily and free of charge facing the ocean.
Endless beaches on the west side of the Gironde
On either side of the beaches of Vendays-Montalivet, the beaches stretch from Verdon Sur Mer to the north and Cap Ferret to the south, that is to say nearly 100 kilometres of continuous beaches. It is sure that you will find your corner of paradise, away from the crowds, to take full advantage of these natural and preserved areas.
For those who like to practice naturism, Montalivet les bains has a free space of about 2 kilometres on the beaches south of the resort. Camping Les Peupliers is not a naturist campsite and we welcome our guests every year from April to the end of October.
If you prefer the solarium and the heated swimming pool of the campsite or the lakes it is possible. The beaches of Montalivet les bains are 8km from Les Peupliers and the Medoc lakes are 15 minutes away by car.
